Dr. Thomas J. Cusick

Dr. Cusick graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. and DVM. He established the Watertown Animal Hospital in 1978.  Shortly after opening the hospital, as director he had the hospital evaluated by the American Animal Hospital Association for certification. The hospital passed the 900 standards to become an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association. The hospital has continued every three years to pass the re-certification process. Although he mostly sees dogs and cats, he will on occasion see birds and pocket pets. His other professional activities include Past President of the American Animal Hospital Association, Past President of the American Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology, Past President of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry, and Trustee of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry. He is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Academy of Veterinary Dentistry, American Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology, American Association of Feline Practioners and the American Society of Veterinary Dentistry.  He just recently completed the American Association of Feline Practioners Cat Friendly Veterinarian Program.
